This could be the perfect role for you!As a Domestic Sales Consultant at The Little Green Energy Company, you will be at the forefront of our sales initiatives, driving commercial growth by identifying new opportunities and engaging potential clients. You’ll manage the end-to-end sales process, including conducting site surveys, preparing system designs, negotiating contracts, and closing deals. Your role will also involve managing the sales pipeline, providing quotations, and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.By leveraging your domestic sales expertise, technical knowledge, and proactive approach, you will play a key role in expanding our market reach and supporting our mission to deliver high-quality, sustainable energy solutions.You’ll have access to personal development opportunities, additional training programs, and the chance to advance within our company. - Solar PV and Battery Storage Experience: Familiarity with designing and selling PV and battery storage systems, with experience using industry-specific design tools.
- Construction Surveying Experience: Experience in conducting site surveys, understanding construction requirements, and applying technical insights to develop tailored solutions.
- Experience with PV Design Tools and Financial Modelling: Proficiency in using PV design software and financial modelling tools to create accurate system designs and cost-effective solutions.
- Electrical Knowledge and Understanding: Basic knowledge of electrical systems and their application in PV and battery storage projects, enhancing the ability to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
- Domestic Sales Development & Target Achievement: Drive sales growth in the renewable energy sector by identifying opportunities, engaging potential clients, and meeting or exceeding quarterly sales targets.
- End-to-End Sales Management: Oversee the sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with client needs.
- Customer Engagement & Relationship Management: Foster strong, long-term client relationships through proactive engagement, accurate quotations, and exceptional pre- and post-sales support.
- Collaboration & Technical Expertise: Work closely with the design team to refine PV and battery storage projects, leveraging up-to-date technical knowledge to deliver innovative solutions.
- Market Research & Strategic Planning: Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to refine strategies and provide cutting-edge solutions.
- Performance Reporting & Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline, track progress against goals, and report on activities to ensure continuous improvement in sales performance.
What we’re looking for:
- Domestic Sales Expertise: Proven experience in driving domestic solar sales growth, with a strong track record of identifying opportunities, developing strategic approaches, and expanding market reach.
- Negotiation and Deal Closing: Exceptional skills in managing the complete sales process, including negotiating terms, closing deals, and executing contracts. A strong history of meeting or exceeding sales targets and fostering long-term client relationships.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize sales pipelines, maintaining a consistent flow of prospects, tracking progress, and ensuring timely follow-ups to drive sales performance.
- Target Achievement and Results-Driven Mindset: Strong focus on achieving and exceeding quarterly sales targets through strategic planning, effective client engagement, and proactive domestic development.
- Customer Engagement and CRM Proficiency: Excellent customer management skills with experience using CRM systems to provide accurate quotations, manage contracts, and deliver a seamless client experience from initial contact through project completion.
- Professional, Collaborative and Self-Motivated: Able to work independently or as part of a small team, showing initiative, professionalism, and the ability to manage tasks without direct supervision.
- Adaptability and Learning Agility: Willingness and ability to learn and apply technical knowledge related to PV and battery storage systems, ensuring up-to-date understanding of industry standards.
- Market Awareness and Competitive Insight: Strong analytical skills to conduct market research, understand competitor offerings, and adapt sales strategies to maintain a competitive edge in the industry.
- Customer Relationship Management: Excellent interpersonal skills for building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients, providing exceptional pre- and post-sales support to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Reporting and Continuous Improvement: Experience in tracking performance, reporting on sales activities, and using feedback to refine sales tactics and improve project outcomes.
