JOB PURPOSE

As Dove Brand Lead, you will oversee day-to-day brand activities, working closely with the category manager to develop and execute strategies that drive Brand Superiority for Dove SCL. Strong analytical abilities, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional team management are key to achieving SOM, financial, and Brand Power KPIs.

  • Act as the Dove brand custodian for both SCL as well as Master Brand. Be the ultimate owner the Unmissable Brand Superiority for Dove SCL.

  • Drive the development and execution of the integrated Dove SCL Brand plan, coordinating all demand creation activities.

  • Lead integrated brand planning (IBP) efforts, overseeing marketing strategy, brand portfolio management, and innovation processes to meet business objectives.

  • Foster a strong brand identity, ensuring consistent brand messaging, and championing a social-first approach to consumer engagement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of marketing plans, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and brand equity.

  • Lead a cross functional team to develop and execute marketing plans in market for Dove SCL driving profitable growth and market share gains.

  • Lead and project manage through the local agency group, fostering strong partnerships and ensuring seamless collaboration with global and local marketing teams.

  • Lead and project manage the innovation process with global marketing and cross functional local teams to ensure timely delivery in market of yearly innovation portfolio.

  • Lead and own the development of best-in-class brand experiences across all touchpoints, building brand purpose, driving brand marketing objectives and JTBD.

  • Be the digital pioneer, pushing forward digital and e-commerce execution, working closely with the Demand Creation team and external agency partners to deliver seamless consumer experiences.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experience:

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics tools to measure performance, derive insights, and make informed, data-driven marketing decisions.

  • Expertise in Consumer Goods, Especially Beauty & Personal Care: Industry experience in consumer goods, ideally within beauty, personal care, or related sectors, with a passion for staying current on trends and innovations.

  • Integrated Marketing Execution Across Channels: Proven ability to plan and execute integrated marketing strategies across digital, social, experiential, and traditional media.

  • Financial and Budget Management: Strong financial acumen to manage budgets, track marketing performance, and optimize spend for growth.

  • Agency and Partnership Management: Skilled in managing relationships with external agencies (creative, media, digital), ensuring alignment with brand objectives.

  • Customer Insight and Market Understanding: Deep understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive dynamics to shape effective marketing strategies.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.

  • Brand Consistency Across Touchpoints: Ability to ensure cohesive brand messaging and expression across all consumer touchpoints.

  • Foundational Marketing Principles and Tactics: Strong grasp of core marketing principles, strategies, and tactics to drive brand growth and engagement across various channels.
