We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Driver’s Helper to join our team. As a Driver’s Helper, you will assist the delivery driver with loading, unloading, and delivering goods to our customers. You will ensure that deliveries are made in a timely and efficient manner while providing excellent customer service. Must be able to use a handtruck.

salary: $18 – $20 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Assist driver with the loading and unloading of goods from the truck.

• Help navigate delivery routes and assist with directions when needed.

• Ensure proper handling and care of merchandise during transportation.

• Communicate with customers during deliveries to ensure satisfaction.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck.

• Adhere to company safety standards and protocols.

• Assist with completing necessary paperwork, such as delivery receipts or invoices.

• Report any delivery issues or delays to the driver and supervisor.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• working up to 20 hrs of overtime per week
