Start time: 5:30 AM (Shift Length: 11–14 hours per day)DRIVER HELPER SUMMARY: Seeking Driver Delivery Helpers to join our team in Lubbock, Texas! This role involves delivering and installing heavy appliances and furniture at various locations, including multi-family sites, with an early start time and potential for long shifts. Ideal candidates have experience with delivery equipment, assembly, and installation. This is a physically demanding role ideal for those experienced in handling heavy deliveries and installations in a fast-paced environment.DRIVER HELPER DETAILS AND TASKS:

• Delivery Installers begin their day in our warehouse helping to load their delivery truck for their route.
• During the day, they will make home delivery of appliances, furniture, exercise equipment, patio furniture, etc. to customer’s homes, businesses, and building sites to include unloading and installation of equipment, where applicable.
• This account delivers to multi-family sites which requires pulling heavy items up and down 5 flights of stairs without an elevator with the assistance of a dolly and helper.
• There will be multiple deliveries per day in most cases and some stops may have returns to pick up.

DRIVER HELPER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Please understand that this is a physically demanding position.
• Drivers need to be able to load and unload appliances and other heavy objects weighing up to 600 lbs. with the use of dollies, pallet jacks, etc.
• Candidates should have experience working with dollies, lift gates, pallet jacks, and ramps.
• Candidates should have the ability to work with tools, general assembly/installation experience, and the ability to read and follow service manual instructions.
• Uniform is required and consists of: Work pants/khakis, plain shirt, steel-toe boots, and grey slacks.
