- This position will remain posted until the hiring process is complete; however, interviews may be conducted after February 27, 2025, so interested applicants should submit their materials ASAP to ensure consideration.
Important Notes
- This position is for the District’s High School Summer School Program, which will be located at Central High School.
- The first session runs Monday-Thursday from June 9, 2025-June 26, 2025.
- There will be no summer school held on Thursday, June 19, 2025; an additional day will take place on Friday, June 20, 2025.
- The second sesstion runs Monday-Thursday from June 30, 2025-July 17, 2025.
- Student Contact Hours will be from 8:00 a.m.-1:15 p.m.
- Staff will be expected to be on duty (and will be paid) from 7:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
- Staff will also be paid for a staff meeting from 8:00 a.m.-9:00 a.m. each session (June 6, 2025 and June 20, 2025). Teachers teaching both sessions will only attend the 1-hour staff meeting on June 6, 2025.
- Teachers will aslo be paid for three (3) hours of paid prep time at the beginning of each session, and from 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. for grading and finalizing the session on the final day of each session (June 26, 2025 and July 17, 2025).
- Please note that classes will only run if enrollment requirements are met, regardless of whether a position has been offered.
- Teachers will be paid at the rate of $35.00/hour.
