Drivers MateErith Depot, London EastASAP – end of January£11.90 per hour Plus Pension, 30 days’ holiday inc BHAs a Drivers Mate based at our Erith Depot, you get to be part of a supportive team and play an active part in challenging the climate crisis.The job

• Accompanying the driver on daily rounds throughout our region, delivering fresh cooking oil to restaurants and collecting waste cooking oil to be loaded back onto the lorry
• Interacting with up to 50 customers a day, providing an effective and helpful service
• Aiding the driver to locate any new locations that require delivery
• Filling out round sheets and invoices with quantities and prices
• Unloading used cooking oil from the vehicles back in the yard
• Loading vehicles with fresh stock ready for the next day
• Working as part of a team to ensure the site runs efficiently and effectively
• Please note this role includes early morning starts between 4am – 6am

We will be looking for:

• Hardworking people with the desire to progress and gain knowledge
• Reliable attitude
• A car or moped driving licence
• At a minimum, GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C or above (or equivalent)
