This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to work in a supportive environment, while providing top-notch care for animals.Role Overview: The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to companion animals, including conducting physical examinations, diagnosing conditions, performing surgeries, and educating clients.   • Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnostic tests on animals.
  • Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions.
  • Perform surgeries and assist with various procedures.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments for patients.
  • Assist with the care of animals during birth and other life stages.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records.
  • Educate clients on proper pet care, treatment options, and health management.

Qualifications:

  • DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active veterinary license to practice in New Hampshire (or ability to obtain licensure).
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in general practice, although new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong diagnostic, surgical, and communication skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to animal care.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
