Professional Qualifications Advisor – Professional Services Firm – HybridWe are excited to partner with a highly regarded professional services firm to recruit a Professional Qualifications (PQ) Advisor. This is an incredible opportunity for an Early Careers professional seeking a step up or a new challenge within a progressive and collaborative environment. With a hybrid working structure and a focus on talent development, this role offers autonomy and the chance to make a significant impact.Reporting directly to the HR Director, you will take ownership of supporting trainees through their professional qualifications, while contributing to broader talent development and implementing the firm’s Learning and Development (L&D) strategy.Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the subject matter expert for Professional Qualifications within the firm.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external providers and professional bodies to optimise support and success for trainees.
  • Manage documentation and ensure accurate tracking of trainees’ progress.
  • Provide training and exam administration support for junior talent.
  • Communicate results effectively, discussing impacts while maintaining professionalism and sensitivity.
  • Support the wider L&D team in implementing talent management and career development programmes.
  • Develop succession strategies, support promotion processes, and provide coaching and guidance as needed.
  • Lead on the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) training and education programmes.

Person Specification

  • Experience working within an L&D function, with a strong understanding of professional qualifications such as ACCA, ACA, CFAB, CTA, AAT, and ATT.
  • Proven ability to manage early careers programmes, with a passion for talent development.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work conscientiously and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously while maintaining the firm’s values.
  • Genuinely passionate about Early Careers and professional development.
