Become part of this world and make a difference with us.https://www.weareams.com/The RoleThe EC&C (Early Careers & Campus) Manager will be responsible for the recruitment delivery, relationship management and annual budget of a team of x recruiters / coordinators within a (large complex) client solution. They will support the Senior Manager (SM) / Client Operations Director (COD) in driving the achievement of the business area’s commercial and people strategy; managing their team to fulfil all contractually agreed quality thresholds.Key AccountabilitiesWhat you’ll be doing:
- You’ll be overseeing high volume recruitment and managing a team to deliver on the Early Careers & Campus Recruitment Operations
- You’ll be overseeing events planning and execution
- You’ll have oversight of Assessment Centres
- You’ll conduct regular 1-2-1s with the team, have personal development conversations and be responsible for keeping a real time succession plan for the team. This includes being the key decision maker around internal mobility in the team, compensation and promotions
- You’ll have overall responsibility of team engagement and wellbeing, looking at initiatives to enhance these
- You’ll design the training curriculum for the team with the support of the centralised AMS Training and Development function
- You’ll work through people matters with the support of HR and senior manager on more complex HR matters
- You’ll be the key point person for all recruitment on the team hiring, working closely with Talent Acquisition to backfill roles within Service Level Agreement timeframes
- You’ll be responsible for all escalations in the team linked to team performance, people issues and stakeholder management
- You’ll be focused on the pastoral care and development of the team, so you’ll be conducting mid-year and end of year appraisals with the team, and you’ll be responsible for ensuring that all performance reviews are carried out professionally with adequate feedback from line managers and stakeholders
Skills & ExperienceYou’ll need to demonstrate:Must haves
- Current Early Careers and Campus recruitment experience within an Operations Team Manager role
- Experience of working within Financial Services/Banking client
- You’ll have experience of presenting to and resolving issues for senior stakeholders (e.g. HR Leaders, Heads of Business) and gaining their agreement to a course of action
- Ability to liaise with and influence all levels of management to agree a change of direction or new process
- You’ll have experience of developing and delivering recruitment strategies and processes to improve outcomes (e.g. decreased time to hire, increased quality of hire)
- You’ll have demonstrated experience in the pastoral care and development of team members
- You’ll have experience at an advanced level of using Excel
Nice to have
- HR/Learning and Development experience
- Experience in behavioural/competency-based interviewing (both face to-face and via the telephone)
- Being able to prioritise, identify and create learning opportunities across the organisation for team members, utilising your coaching and team development skills
