We are looking for a driven Early Careers Recruitment Lead to join our established and forward-thinking People Team. We’re going through an exciting period of transformation here at Bishop Fleming as we’re looking to significantly grow the firm, supported by the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Workday, which will streamline the way we work and provide a better experience for both candidates and hiring managers alike. This is a wide-ranging role working in a recruitment team of 3 that is influential and instrumental in supporting the firm to hire great talent across a range of our apprenticeship, graduate, placement and experienced hires positions.Year on year we recruit record numbers of apprentices and we’ve received recognition in the form of awards that support the success of our apprenticeship program. We are keen to continue attracting great talent to support our ambitious growth plans in early careers and this position will be integral in delivering against our plans. This role will be based in newly refurbished offices in central Bristol, the role will require some travel to our offices.The RoleIn this role, you will focus on hiring the best talent in the market into our apprenticeship program by leading early careers recruitment across all of our offices. Working closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager you will look at how we attract, select, and recruit in the market by utilising the best tools and techniques to ensure the firm is recruiting the right people to support us on our growth journey. You will also work with the Talent Acquisition Manager to hire Experienced Hires across the firm.Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Leading the end-to-end recruitment of graduate, apprentice and placement trainees, reviewing CVs, test results, video interviews and shortlisting all suitable trainee applicants for assessment centres this includes:
- Organising and facilitating assessment centres with the support of the Resourcing Administrator, including running feedback sessions and wash-ups
- Organising and attending various graduate and school career fairs and events, building good relationships with schools and universities
- Coordinating business representatives to support in the attendance of school and university events
- Overseeing the trainee onboarding process and induction process working with the L&D Leads, keeping incoming trainees engaged with the business ahead of their start dates and ensuring a successful introduction into the firm
- Providing regular updates and reporting on the progress of trainee resourcing to hiring managers, the Talent Acquisition Manager, and other key stakeholders, providing supporting management information (MI)
- Working closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager to ensure we have the right attraction and selection methods in place to ensure we recruit the best possible talent in the market
- Researching and working with the wider team to implement innovative ways to engage with our target audiences
- Fully engaging with Workday and ensuring we’re optimising this leading technology to keep pace with market changes
- Supporting key lateral hires working with the wider recruitment team
- Supporting the wider People Team
What we are looking forTo be considered for the role, you will have:
- Experience of early careers/future talent/volume recruitment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to offer an excellent client service to hiring managers & candidates
- Good IT skills and be particularly comfortable working with MS Word and Excel, having applicant tracking systems (ATS) experience particularly with Workday would be an advantage
- A ‘can do’ attitude with the aptitude to deal with a high volume of candidate applications and requests
- Excellent organisational skills with good attention to detail
- You’ll also be driven to achieve and curious around process improvement
