Held’s Global Investigations Practice provides companies, legal counsel, financial institutions, and other organizations with the information required to make well-informed business decisions. Our team is retained to advise in multi-jurisdictional business transactions and investments, regulatory inquiries, compliance issues, and legal proceedings. We have experts located around the globe and support clients across Europe, North America, Latin America, Africa, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East.This is a unique opportunity for a highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to adopt a management role within the eDiscovery team. The ideal person for this role will have a strong grasp of eDiscovery and Legal Technology and be a flexible and strategic thinker able to take on a variety of tasks. They will join an experienced and closely-knit team of technology professionals, with deep experience in handling complex, bespoke engagements, and will collaborate daily with other professionals within DI&D and Global Investigations.This position offers a flexible hybrid schedule. We are looking for someone who can commute to our London office. This role requires flexibility for occasional travel.Job Responsibilities

  • Delivery of eDiscovery engagements with a strong emphasis on processing, ECA, review management, analytics, and productions.
  • End-to-end project management and client relationship activities for a portfolio of engagements.
  • Contribute to innovation and capability development initiatives including the development of proof-of-concepts.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of standard operating procedures and the management of the eDiscovery operating environment.
  • Delivery of presentations, demonstrations, and training to our clients.
  • Assist in the development of research documents, thought leadership articles, and proposals.
  • Mentoring and coaching of junior team members.
  • Contribution to wider DI&D forensic technology engagements where needed.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications:

  • Relevant work experience in the eDiscovery consulting or legal industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
  • Experience delivering large international eDiscovery projects for blue-chip clients and top-tier law firms.
  • An aptitude for developing workflows that encompass efficiency, quality assurance, and risk management, including the use of automation.
  • Technical proficiency with eDiscovery tools such as Relativity, Reveal, Disco, and Nuix.
  • Experience in diagnosing issues with the technical aptitude to correct such issues.
  • Experience in a client-facing role with excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Excellent technical background with a passion for eDiscovery and Legal Technology.
  • Strong organization and risk management skills.
  • The desire to seek out wider responsibilities, take initiative, and bring new ideas.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with forensic data collection desired.
  • eDiscovery certifications desired.
  • Experience in using eDiscovery tools for use cases such as DSARs, post-breach reviews, Contract Analytics, and Surveillance desired.
  • Proficiency with SQL and utilizing analytics to enhance review.

Physical and Mental Job Qualifications

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
