Job Title: EIC EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking an EIC Engineer with a strong understanding of electrical, instrumentation and control systems to join our team. This role involves working with internal engineering/design teams, as well as clients and stakeholders on EIC project deliverables. This position offers a challenging and dynamic work environment with opportunities to work both in the office and in the field at customer locations if requested. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects from mining, pulp and paper, wastewater, transit and more. (Typically all in the industrial material handling space.)Responsibilities

• Track and update clients and internal stakeholders on project deliverables.
• Design and program EIC systems for various client applications and technologies.
• Ensure all work meets current electrical codes and requirements.
• Complete design work in accordance with client parameters, needs, and expectations.
• Working with AutoCAD Electrical to conduct design and engineering duties including

• PLC Cabinet/Panel designs
• Control Panel design
• Single line diagrams
• MCC/VFD/Switchgear detail design
• Electrical schematics
• Instrumentation design
• Cabling

Essential Skills

• EIT or P.Eng Designation in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical drafting and design.
• 3+ years of experience with instrumentation or control systems. (Programming would be a major asset to this person.)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
• Familiarity with the Canadian Electrical Code.

Work EnvironmentThis role involves a mix of office and field work, with occasional travel required. The work environment is hybrid, offering some flexibility. Employees benefit from performance bonuses, development opportunities, and paid time off between Christmas and New Year’s.
