This position will lead and direct the activities of skilled electricians, perform work for which qualified and assist in troubleshooting equipment as directed. Will make recommendations as to means of correcting malfunctions or eliminating trouble and report to supervisor any unusual problems. These general maintenance duties will be performed as found necessary or as directed.

• Provide technical expertise in electrical systems, including power distribution, motor controls, switchgear, UPS systems, and substations.
• Supervise, lead, and manage a team of electrical and technicians.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient production processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on the production plant.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Participate in project planning and execution.
• Supervise and direct the activities of skilled maintenance personnel.
• Perform work for which he/she is qualified and assist in troubleshooting equipment as directed.
• Will make recommendations as to means of correcting malfunctions or eliminating trouble and report to supervisor any unusual problems.
• Perform all necessary general maintenance on shovels, cranes, bulldozers, loaders, stone plants, etc. These general maintenance duties will be performed as found necessary or as directed.
• Ensures compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, and with company policies and procedures.

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or GED with additional technical training a plus
• 3-5 years of experience in electrical field
• Strong mechanical background with conveyors, screens and crushers
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and automation systems.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred.
• Must be willing to learn to operate crushing plant equipment and mobile equipment
• Frequently lift 25 pounds, occasionally lift up to 70 pounds
• MSHA trained a plus
