Electro-Mechanical Technician

This is an exciting Electro-Mechanical Technician opportunity to join a leader in the packaging manufacturing industry at their facility in Winchester, KY. This company is globally known for the diversified consumer packaging, industrial products and protective packaging they have provided to their customers since 1899.  

In this direct hire Electro-Mechanical Technician role, you will be responsible for performing equipment, process and system maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, making repairs and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Electro-Mechanical Technician Job Responsibilities:  

• Documents and performs preventative/predictive maintenance tasks to eliminate equipment breakdowns and failures  

• Read and understand mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical schematics  

• Installs, troubleshoots and repairs AC and DC drives/motors 

• Modifies, troubleshoots and installs PLC programs  

• Fabricates and installs various electrical, piping, pneumatic and mechanical equipment  

Schedule:  

• 7pm-7am, 2/2/3 12 hour schedule 

Electro-Mechanical Technician Job Requirements: 

• 2-3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with strong hands-on injection molding processing and troubleshooting abilities  

• Experience with PLCs, AC/DC drives & motors, and electrical/hydraulic equipment 

• Knowledge of robotics and auxiliary equipment used with plastic injection molding  

• Ability to supply and maintain your own tools  

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills  

Pay: $31.14 – $39.13 (+$1 shift differential for night shift)
