Send us your resume and join a people-centric company with a reputation of excellence.Job DescriptionUAP Inc. is looking to expand their technician team by adding a technician to support the automated warehouse system of their Cambridge facility.The candidate will carry out amongst others the following activities:
- Perform maintenance activities on the installed system to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Supervise maintenance tasks and manage spare parts effectively to enhance efficiency.
- Record all technical team activities accurately in the CMMS.
- Provide timely and effective support to the operations team, ensuring a ‘right first time’ approach.
- Attend periodic operations meetings and provide emergency maintenance support as needed.
- Address maintenance issues and manage internal escalation processes efficiently.
- Monitor and optimize on-site maintenance activities, response times, and adherence to quality standards.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure optimal system performance.
QualificationsTo join our team you need:
- Technical diploma in electrical, electronic, mechanical, or automation fields
- Competence in reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical diagrams
- Knowledge of industrial automation, including sensor technologies and pneumatic/hydraulic systems
- Skilled in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
- Experience in performing routine maintenance and commissioning mechatronic systems
- Familiarity with CMMS tools and a solid understanding of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on optimizing automated systems
