Segal Placements is delighted to be instructed by a profitable and growing (over 100 fee earners) London Firm on the edge of the City who are keen to bring in a Head of Employment. This individual will act as the guiding force of a fully-functioning team ‘in situ’ comprising Senior, Mid and Junior Associates and a Paralegal.The Firm currently undertakes significant amounts of work from for their own internal clientbase including multiple mid-sized Corporates / SME’s so there is likely to be some work to tap into, although the successful candidate will have, through the course of their career, been able to nurture a small/mid-sized client base of their own.The individual in question may focus either more on contentious or non-contentious or it may be an even split although they ought to have largely worked on the defendant side.This is a role that the Firm are keen to fill swiftly and this hire has been mandated by those at the top.
