PracticeTechnologies Cyber SecurityLocation Paris, FranceType ContractCryptography Expert – Paris – 1+ year extendable contractNext Ventures is partnered with an International Technology Service Provider who is hiring a Cryptography expert on a contracting basis. You will work mainly from home and will be required to work onsite in Paris occasionally.Your role will involve specify the technical architectures for data protection, to deploy and configure the envisaged solutions, and to supervise security specialists. This is a customer facing role where you will play the role of expert in the implementation and support of security solutions.The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in data encryption and key management solutions (KMS/HSM) (Entrust, Thales, Guardium GDE solutions, etc.)
- Very good knowledge of the encryption principles of infrastructure components (Cloud BYOK, Database, Backup, etc.) and applications (e.g. JCA/JCE, Bouncy Castle)
- Understanding of data protection policies with capacity to define them
- Experience writing key management processes and has an understanding of security roles. associated with KMS, HSM, and infrastructure components
- Understanding of the risks mitigated by the different levels of encryption (backup, storage, OS, database, application)
- Fluent French language skills
