This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of matters, including project development, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.Responsibilities of the Energy Associate will include:

• Represent clients in regulatory matters before state and federal agencies.
• Plan and execute pre-application strategies, draft and file application documents, and manage project permitting.
• Research and analyze statutes and regulations, draft memoranda and legal documents.
• Handle administrative petitions, comments, complaints, and related filings.
• Other duties as assigned

Job RequirementsQualifications of the Energy Associate:

• 1-5+ years of regulatory or litigation experience; energy sector experience is a plus.
• Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York Bar (or ability to waive in).
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Military experience is welcomed.
