Workplace Arrangement: #LI-OnsiteAbout the roleJoin Our Team as an Engineering Apprentice at Kerry Dairy Consumer Foods Portadown!Are you ready to kickstart your engineering career? As an Engineering Apprentice at our Portadown site, you’ll develop the skills to construct or modify products from verbal instructions and drawings. You’ll maintain a logbook throughout your apprenticeship, recording your projects and the skills you’ve learned. This role is a blend of formal and practical training, both at college and on-site at Kerry Dairy Consumer Foods Portadown.Key responsibilities

• Learning and Development: Observe, learn, and understand a wide range of engineering skills and processes under the guidance of skilled technical staff.
• Skill Demonstration: As your training progresses, demonstrate your skills by working independently or with a team on various tasks.
• Academic and Practical Training: Successfully complete courses throughout the training period, achieving the necessary academic grades and practical skills for yearly progression towards the Level 3 Engineering Operative qualification.
• Health and Safety: Learn and understand the importance of health and safety within the workplace.
• Product Construction: Develop the skills to construct or modify products from verbal instructions and drawings.
• Equipment Maintenance: Learn how to maintain workshop equipment and keep it in good repair.
• Logbook Maintenance: Maintain a logbook over the duration of the apprenticeship, recording projects and skills learned.
