After more than a century in the industry, we continue to innovate as a world-leading organisation.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect focused on the applications domain who will be responsible for developing the applications strategy, roadmaps, and architecture within PRS for Music, playing a crucial role in delivering our business and technology strategies. This is a new role which will sit in our Enterprise Architecture (EA) Team and will support us to meet PRS’ objectives.You will be responsible for translating the business strategy and business architecture into an applications strategy and set of roadmaps with supporting artefacts such as architectural landscapes, insights, principles and standards. You will also be responsible for guiding, mentoring, and supporting Solution and Technical Architects, and Technical Leads in the broader CIO department, giving them the applications guard rails to architect and deliver solutions with autonomy; providing insights and assistance where needed.You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, including but not limited to our executive team (ELT), our senior leadership team (SLT) other enterprise architects, business architects, analysts & product owners, project managers and engineers, to deliver successful outcomes.The TeamThe EA team is responsible for delivering technology strategies and roadmaps, landscapes, solution architectures, and technical designs for all key systems.The mission of the Team is to empower PRS for Music with a forward-thinking, business-aligned enterprise architecture that drives innovation, ensures strategic coherence, and delivers scalable, sustainable value through technology. The Enterprise Architect for Applications plays a crucial role in this mission.All PRS for Music’s systems fall under the responsibility of the EA Team, covering many technologies including Oracle, Microsoft, Salesforce and MuleSoft, both Cloud based and on premise. We regularly work with third parties to compliment the skills of the core team always with a focus on enabling PRS to deliver the best service to its customers. Responsibilities:Our Enterprise Architect for Applications will be responsible for developing and maturing our application architecture and will lead/support the development of architecture landscapes, insights, principles, standards, strategy and governance which support business objectives. Some of your day-to-day duties will include:
- Identify and scope enterprise application strategies, roadmaps, and plans, in collaboration with the EA Team and other stakeholders.
- Design, develop and maintain conceptual and logical application landscapes (or lenses on application and technology architectures), principles, standards and policies which support performance, scalability, and integrity requirements
- Monitor the technology market and promote development of future cloud estates and platforms, evaluating and recommending application technologies, considering factors such as risk mitigation, performance, scalability, and cost. Oversee the implementation of applications and technologies.
- Participate, advise, and make recommendations to appropriate governance groups and project boards and drive best-practice for applications related issues, efficiently, and support the Solution and Technical Architects and activities to deliver application change
- Aid in the development of sound business cases to drive continuous improvement of our application assets; celebrate and publicise the delivery of these business benefits.

- Understanding of different types of systems (e.g. CRM, Finance Mgmt, HR Mgmt, integration), application architectures (e.g. cloud, microservices, monolithic) and experience in migration from legacy application estates to deliver application capabilities using more contemporary scalable methods (such as microservices for differentiating capabilities)
- Experience and knowledge of right-size governance and assurance practices. Pragmatic control, supporting delivery
- Experience in popular architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF) and their pragmatic / practical implementation and Demonstrable knowledge in architectural modelling including use of common languages (for example UML, ArchiMate) and Architecture Tools (e.g. BizzDesign, Mega etc)
- Excellent communicator and change agent with the ability to constructively influence at all levels across the organisation to drive valuable outcomes.

The Process
Our interview process for this role is simple:
- First stage interview will take place virtually on MS Teams.
- Second stage interview will take place in person at our London Bridge Hub with the hiring manager
- Third stage interview will take place in person at our London Bridge Hub with our CIO.
