Job Description:Metrolinx is connecting communities across the Greater Golden Horseshoe. Metrolinx operates GO Transit and UP Express, as well as the PRESTO fare payment system. Metrolinx is an agency of the Government of Ontario.At Metrolinx, equity, diversity and inclusion are essential to living our values of serving with passion, thinking forward and playing as a team.Our Financial Analysis and Reporting Office (FAR) is seeking an Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Administrator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our EPM OneStream applications to support financial planning, reporting, and analysis functions. The EPM OneStream applications are used for budgeting, forecasting and reporting. The EPM Administrator is required to support staff in incorporating financial requirements into the application.What will I be doing?

  • Responsible for the EPM OneStream applications, metadata, business rules and calculations, web forms, data integration from source systems, financial reporting, user access and security, maintenance and design as well as enhancing functionality when needed to meet budget, forecast and reporting requirements.
  • Administers, maintains and supports the EPM OneStream applications functionality including:
  • Develops and maintains integrations between OneStream and other systems such as Oracle EBS, HCM (HR) and Workbrain, to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the financial information transferred between systems
  • Manages the development and maintenance of web forms, business rules/calculation scripts and other EPM OneStream artifacts
  • Generates and customizes reports to meet stakeholder needs
  • Builds and maintain cube views for multidimensional analysis
  • Ensure data security and access controls are implemented effectively. Execute security changes in the applications ensuring that proper approvals are obtained
  • Develops and manages workflow processes within OneStream
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical support
  • Stay current with the OneStream updates and best practices to drive continuous improvement
  • Executes and documents OneStream upgrades and patches testing for all environments/instances. This also includes restoring data/backups when needed
  • Perform artifacts migration between environments
  • Documents, test and maintains all OneStream application dimensions, metadata and rules changes related to the chart of accounts, entities, scenarios, versions and custom members
  • Assists in the annual budget development and monthly period-end reporting procedures including data preparation, process management and update of system task flows
  • Serve as the EPM OneStream help desk administrator, troubleshooting issues/problems from internal stakeholders (e.g., cost centre managers).
  • Supports various special projects including enhancements and/or optimization activities.
  • Develop and deliver EPM OneStream training to the Finance end-users

What Skills and Qualifications Do I Need?

  • Completion of a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent.
  • Demonstrated years working with EPM OneStream, and relevant experience in planning, financial systems, financial processes, and reporting
  • Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis concepts
  • Proficiency in developing and troubleshooting OneStream integrations, calculations, web forms, reports, cube views, and security settings
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., VBScript, PowerShell) is a must
  • Knowledge and hands-on development experience with at least one EPM tool other than OneStream, such as Hyperion or Anaplan, is an asset
  • Collaborative, relationship management and teamwork skills to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with diverse internal/external stakeholders
  • Verbal and written communication and interpersonal abilities to prepare status reports, updates, and brief management; provide information and explanations of a technical nature to a range of internal stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical, and problem-solving ability to address staff budgeting and reporting requirements while ensuring the effective design of the EPM OneStream applications and troubleshooting technical issues
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
