Entry Level Foundry Helper | Swing

A well-known local manufacturing company is currently looking to add multiple Foundry Helpers to their growing team!

No experience needed!

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position that offers long-term advancement opportunities.

As a Foundry Helper, you would be working for a Fortune 500 company that primarily services the military and aerospace industries.

Foundry Helper Job Responsibilities:

• Inspects and delivers metal ingots to furnace areas.
• Cleans, inspects and weighs shells.
• Load and unload shells into furnace using a sit-down forklift and overhead crane.
• Load melting pots with metals.

Schedule: Train on day shift, move to swing shift after training.

• Train on Day Shift Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm
• Work Swing Shift Sunday-Thursday 3:00pm-11:00pm
• This position, along with every other person in this department, works at least one weekend day each week.

Foundry Helper Job Requirements:

• Ability to occasionally lift 35 lbs.
• Ability to wear required flame-resistant PPE – ear protection, safety goggles, coveralls, jackets, face shields, and steel-toed boots.
• Ability to understand and confidently do Basic Math.

Pay: $22.00 per hour
