Entry-Level Machine Operator

A local packaging manufacturer is looking to add a Machine Operator to their team in this temp-to-hire position on the Day shift

Perfect for someone with at least 6 months of previous experience as a machine operator.

You will be part of a company that values their employees, wants you to succeed and grow with them, and will train you on everything you need to know!

 Machine Operator Trainee Duties:

• Set up print jobs according to specifications
• Read instructions from job tickets to operate machinery
• scanning
  product into inventory using hand-held scanner.
• Push and pull loads of sheet stacks
• Use pallet jack to move materials
• Use scale to weigh materials

You will be successful in this role if you are eager to learn, like to be active on the job, and work well on a team.

Schedules:

• Day Shift: Monday – Thursday; 4:00am – 2:00pm  

Machine Operator Trainee Requirements:

• 6 months of previous machine operator experience
• 2 Years of experience working in a warehouse or production/manufacturing environment
• Capable of bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, pushing and pulling
• Must be able to lift 0-75 lbs.
• Must have basic computer skills

Pay:
$20.00- $21.00/hr, with structured pay increases
