Below is a brief description of the roles, capabilities, and credentials you should bring.QualificationsYour Capabilities and CredentialsIntermediate Environmental Assessment Practitioners:Minimum bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental management, engineering, science, forestry, or related fieldMinimum of 3 years of work experience or a combination of education and experienceComfortable working on multiple projects concurrently, sometimes reporting to different individualsStrong verbal and written communication skills, including strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and technical writing skillsClose attention to detailGeneral knowledge of relevant local provincial and federal environmental legislation and policiesAbility and natural tendency to mentor staff that are junior in experience/exposureJunior Environmental Assessment Practitioners:Minimum bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental management, engineering, science, forestry, or related fieldMinimum of 1 year work experienceWilling to work on multiple projects concurrently, sometimes reporting to different individualsProficient verbal and written communication skills, including MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Close attention to detailMotivated to learn new skills, take on work assignments, and handle multiple assignments as appropriateSome knowledge of relevant local provincial and federal environmental legislation and policies is an assetField Logistics Coordinator:Minimum of 2 years experience in a customer service capacityPreferred background in asset management and inventory controls but not requiredA class 5 license is requiredConfident user of MS Office including Excel, Word, and OutlookSolid written and verbal skillsProven high attention to detailExperience within a fast-paced, high-demand environmentAbility to work on own initiative or as part of a teamDemonstrated organizational skills with an ability to prioritize workProven critical thinking and problem-solving skillsInterest in Health and SafetyFlexible work hours on occasionWetlands Biologist:Minimum bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental management, engineering, science, forestry, or related fieldMinimum of 3 years of work experience or a combination of education and experienceReceived recognized training in wetland delineationWESP-AC training is an assetStrong verbal and written communication skills, including strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and technical writing skillsClose attention to detailExperience in the collection of biological and physical field dataAbility and natural tendency to mentor staff that are junior in experience/exposureVegetation Biologist:Minimum bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental management, engineering, science, forestry, or related fieldMinimum of 3 years of work experience or a combination of education and experienceAbility to identify common vascular plans in the field and to identify collected specimens using dichotomous keys and other reference materialsStrong verbal and written communication skills, including strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and technical writing skillsClose attention to detailExperience in the collection of biological and physical field dataAbility and natural tendency to mentor staff that are junior in experience/exposureTo express interest in joining our team, please submit your application, and our Talent Acquisition team will contact you as neededPeople.
