Salary: Excluded Band 3, starting at $84,942 – $106,177 annually
Location: Flexible within British Columbia, with a designated CLBC office as your primary location (hybrid)

Reporting to the Director, People Development, you will play a pivotal role in integrating EDI principles into CLBC’s culture, policies, and practices. Your leadership will help drive systemic change, ensuring that diversity and inclusion are woven into the fabric of our organization.This role is ideal for someone who thrives on collaboration, strategic thinking, and influencing positive change. You’ll work across teams to foster an environment where equity and belonging are not just values but lived experiences.Key Responsibilities:

  • Advance EDI initiatives by leading the implementation of CLBC’s EDI strategy and priority actions
  • Champion inclusive workplace culture by embedding EDI principles into policies, decision-making, and leadership approaches
  • Leverage data for impact, conducting workforce analysis to track progress, measure impact, and inform strategies
  • Educate and engage employees through training, consultation, and knowledge-sharing on best practices
  • Support the internal implementation of the Accessible BC Act and provide ongoing monitoring of the application, acting as a subject matter expert as needed
  • Foster relationships with internal and external partners to align EDI efforts and promote meaningful collaboration
  • Act as a trusted advisor by providing expert guidance on inclusive recruitment, and systemic bias reduction

What you will bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree in social sciences, public health, human resources, organizational development, psychology, or another related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility program creation, implementation, and evaluation, including:
  • Program and project management
  • Change management and organizational development
  • Partner engagement and training development
  • Conducting program evaluations and using data to drive change

We’re also looking for:

  • Strong strategic leadership with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills, including experience presenting to executives and board members
  • Deep understanding of systemic approaches to EDI, BC public service policies, and accessibility legislation
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret data to measure progress and inform decision-making
  • Resilience and adaptability in navigating challenges and driving long-term change
