Your duties will include:Responsible for analysis of several equity market sectors. Develop a good understanding of the sectors, their constituents and share price driversMaintain active recommendations on 40-50 equities in the UK, Europe and the US. Generate effective, timely investment recommendationsKeep electronic stock databases up-to-dateCommunicate stock and sector recommendations effectively and persuasively in both verbal and written settings. Attendance and contribution at morning and other investment meetingsInform fund managers of significant developments and eventsPlay an active part in the Company’s central investment process including contributing to model portfolio processCarry out sector presentations to London investment teams and regional offices (travel to offices as required).Contribution to marketing activities (articles, presentations) as requiredAbout YouApplications from people with diverse backgrounds enables our inclusive organisation to thrive. You could be exactly what this role needs.CFA charter holder or part qualified.Equity research analysis experience (buy side preferred).Generalist with some experience of analysing financial sectors preferable.Knowledge of Factset useful.Ability to prioritise workloads and complete timely analysis.Communicates clearly, listens effectively.
