In this role, you will split your time between developing and customizing ERP applications and providing hands-on IT support. You are a tech enthusiast who loves ERP software development and enjoys troubleshooting PC hardware and software issues to help your colleagues stay productive.WHAT YOU’LL DOERP Development & Support:
- Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with our internal teams to understand their needs and transform them into technical solutions that drive business success.
- Shape the Future of ERP: Develop and customize cutting-edge Odoo ERP modules using Python, PostgreSQL, XML, and JavaScript to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Problem-Solve Like a Pro: Test, debug, and enhance ERP functionalities to deliver seamless, high-quality user experiences that keep everything running smoothly.
- Bridge the Systems: Integrate our ERP system with leading tools like Salesforce and HubSpot to create a connected and efficient digital ecosystem.
- Leverage Leading-Edge Tools: Use the Odoo.sh Git development environment to ensure fast and efficient deployment of new features and updates.
IT Support:
- Be the Go-To Tech Guru: Provide hands-on desktop support to our Windows and Office 365 users, ensuring they’re always operating at peak performance.
- Master of Troubleshooting: Configure, deploy, migrate, and resolve issues with Windows Servers, PCs, networks, and printers like a seasoned IT pro.
- Network Hero: Manage Active Directory, troubleshoot firewalls, and maintain the switches, VPNs, and networking infrastructure that keep our operations secure and connected.
- Guardian of Security: Safeguard our systems by managing backups, anti-virus solutions, and keeping our tech environment secure and resilient.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Python developer.
- Proficiency in Python, XML, and PostgreSQL, with familiarity in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Git for version control and Odoo ERP (an asset).
- Expertise in Office 365 and Windows Server administration.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, including writing optimized SQL queries.
- Knowledge of networking, firewall management, and VPN configurations.
- Proven problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
