Responsibilities:Our newest opportunity is for a talented ESG Manager to join our award-winning team based in Amman, Jordan.You will play as key role in expanding our ESG team spanning Europe, UK and GCC and will be responsible for driving the company’s ESG portfolio growth in the GCC and overseeing ESG project execution.We envisage success in this role to include;

  • Collaborating with clients and the ESG team in the development of high quality ESG solutions.
  • Overseeing proposal development for ESG projects, ensuring they are comprehensive, persuasive, and aligned with client needs.
  • Managing the execution of ESG projects, ensuring alignment with clients’ objectives and expectations. Developing and managing detailed project plans, track progress, and ensure delivery within scope, timeframe, and budget.
  • Supporting the team’s growth by hiring and mentoring mid-junior members
  • Supporting the Sustainability leadership team in technical and commercial management, and operational excellence.
  • Providing regular reporting on management and progress, risks and opportunities.

Qualifications:To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 5-8 years of related experience in Sustainability or ESG and partnered with a Bachelors degree in Environmental Science or Sustainability or Business Management or related field. You will have good understanding of sustainable business practices, benchmarking, sustainability strategy development and implementation, stakeholder engagement and supply chain management, and international ESG standards and reporting frameworks (e.g GRI, SASB, TCFD).The following aspects will be key for the successful candidate:

  • Experience in identifying and developing opportunities which can be tailored to the needs of clients, building winning client relations as well as driving services on existing client’s commissions under the umbrella of ESG.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee complex projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of proposal development, risk assessment and budgeting.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present ESG concepts clearly.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, with the ability to inspire and coordinate team members.
  • Experience in utilizing reputable ESG software platforms is preferred.
