We have an exciting opportunity for an Exam Invigilator to join our dedicated team at a school in Sheffield!About the Role: As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of examinations. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the exam process, ensuring that all students have a fair and equal opportunity to perform to the best of their abilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the educational journey of students and gain valuable experience in a school setting.Responsibilities:
- Supervise students during exams to ensure a calm and orderly environment.
- Distribute and collect exam papers and materials.
- Ensure that exam conditions comply with the school’s policies and procedures.
- Assist students with any queries or issues that arise during the exam.
- Monitor students to prevent cheating or misconduct.
- Report any incidents or irregularities to the exam coordinator.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and exam materials.
Requirements:
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Previous experience in an educational setting (desirable but not essential).
- A commitment to upholding the integrity of the exam process.
To work with GSL Education as an Exam Invigilator, you will need:
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
