If you are looking for a firm where you can build a future and make an impact, then RSM is the place for you.The opportunityWorking within our central specialist legal, assurance, risk and compliance (“LARC”) team, you would primarily support the firm’s Chief Financial Officer and the four LARC team leads based in London. In addition, you would provide support to other LARC team members based in London, Manchester and Leeds as needed.We are a dynamic team with a significant and varied workload We deliver pragmatic, focused and commercial advice, support and guidance to all levels within our business. A general requirement to be in the office 4 days a week, possibly 5 days from time to time depending on business requirements.Key responsibilities

  • Providing full support to the Chief Financial Officer and LARC leadership team.
  • Organisation and preparation of reporting to the firm’s National Leadership Team and Board.
  • Organisation of and preparation for the monthly all-LARC Town Hall meetings.
  • Helping to drive forward key projects across the team – managing timelines and liaising with senior stakeholders.
  • Supporting the team with management reporting.
  • Organising team events, including volunteering days and celebrations.
  • Managing diaries across the team, including arranging meetings and training sessions.
  • Relaying messages accurately and in a confidential manner.
  • Liaising with other EAs, teams and offices to manage requests and queries.
  • Creating and formatting branded documents, including letters and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Processing invoices, expenses and other payment requests.
  • For the legal team, setting up cases on iManage and assisting with filing as needed.
  • Maintaining internal records, including new matter forms and the case schedule for the legal team.
  • Archiving records and dealing with destruction of records on an ongoing basis.
  • Assisting with annual renewals to ensure that the firm is compliant with its regulatory obligations.
  • Providing secretarial cover to other teams, where appropriate.

We are looking for someone who has

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a professional services environment.
  • A high level of discretion when working with sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high quality work quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills – capable of being clear, concise and precise.
  • The ability to: manage multiple tasks; solve problems; manage and meet deadlines.
  • The ability to take responsibility and accountability for work, ensuring that matters are progressed independently.
  • A good working knowledge of the Microsoft suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience of a document management system, ideally iManage.
  • A client-centric approach.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, together with the ability to work as part of a diverse team.
  • A natural curiosity and desire to get to the bottom of things.
  • A flexible and adaptable working style.
  • The desire to constantly improve and develop.
