DESCRIPTIONThe Worldwide Amazon Stores organization is looking for an Executive Assistant who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization. We are looking for someone to support two Directors on our Customer Service team in Seattle, Washington.This Executive Assistant will be responsible for handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives. Role responsibilities include managing multiple complex calendars, planning and organizing events of all sizes, and coordinating domestic and international travel. This candidate will help build a positive team environment and establish working relationships inside and outside of the group.Key job responsibilities
– Prioritization and appropriate escalation of time-sensitive, and/or highly confidential information
– Proactively identifying and making improvement to team processes
– Management of organizational processes (e.g., meeting standards, deadline tracking, budget management, upholding standards)
– Complex calendar management across multiple teams and time zones
– Creation of organization-specific communication and engagement opportunities
– Planning and coordination of travel arrangements for individual and team schedules
– Organization of international team events, including logistics (catering, rooms, conference facilities, etc.), and coordination with global suppliers
– Expense reconciliation and trackingA day in the life
You’ll start your day reviewing the priorities for each of your leaders, ensuring they are on top of their calendar and tasks for the day, and are aware of any changing situations over the coming weeks.
If your leader(s) have upcoming travel or events planned, you’ll make sure all of the logistics are confirmed, well communicated, and that any expenses are moving through approvals to payment.
The remainder of your time will be spent attending organizational meetings, where you’ll be responsible for tracking notes and actions. More importantly, you’ll start understanding the organization’s priorities, and spot opportunities to remove roadblocks, drive efficiencies, and represent your leaders’ interests.About the team

Our mission in Amazon Customer Service – Stores is to be an unrelenting customer advocate by eliminating defects and resolving issues before they happen. We uphold this mission with automated and human support to customers, using signals from these channels to eliminate upstream defects.
Within Customer Service, the Social Media team is defining and building the next generation of customer service. The Defect Elimination team identifies issues affecting customers across the globe, and builds the systems to allow business owners to fix those issues.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS– 2+ years of senior level leadership support, or 1+ years of Amazon experience
– High school or equivalent diploma
– Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
– Experience with executive level calendar managementPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
– Experience managing multiple calendars

The base pay for this position ranges from $50,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
