This role would suit an individual who is confident in their ability to work independently to achieve outcomes from day-to-day responsibilities to more complex value-add projects.To thrive in this role you must be comfortable operating in a technical environment, developing knowledge over time and deploying this in your day-to-day work. Being a crucial, supporting role you will need to be experienced and comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders across the business and display the appropriate level of professionalism and discretion at all times.In addition, this is an incredible opportunity to help further the transition to renewable energy.Objectives & Responsibilities:Rovco/Vaarst is an exciting and dynamic environment meaning these are likely to change as we grow. Upon joining your objectives and responsibilities will include:

  • Working directly with the CTO to support all aspects of their daily work routine
  • Maintain the CTO calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, travel (may include domestic and international), public appearances
  • Managing expenses for the CTO and their team
  • Organise and attend select meetings, take notes, capture action items, and support follow-through
  • General administrative duties, such as preparing memos, letters, presentation decks, and other documents
  • Ownership of the patenting process, managing relationships with IP lawyers, budgeting, tracking etc
  • Manage phone calls, taking messages, and supporting external visitors or guests Deal with highly sensitive and confidential information appropriately, demonstrating a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Working across the technical team to support initiatives and positive culture
  • Ownership of ad-hoc projects and activities from conception to completion, as well as supporting projects within the tech teams as required
  • Provide support to the Business Support team, working closely with the EAs and offering cover when required

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with an understanding of the demands of supporting a busy Executive.
