Job DescriptionThe vaccine portfolio is a large and growing part of our Company’s core business that will help deliver growth for the company now and into the future. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the US Vaccines business through the transformation of our portfolio marketing organization and to drive the US vaccine coverage expansion goals. The successful candidate will be accountable for defining the vision, portfolio strategy and supporting the growth of our vaccine portfolio across each of our organized customer segments. The Vaccine Portfolio Marketing Team leader will manage six team leaders that serve three distinct functions: Marketing Strategy, Scientific Engagement, and Marketing Operations. The team serves the overall aspiration of the Business Unit in seeking to protect all lives through vaccination by taking a portfolio view across multiple customer segments.Specific Responsibilities Include:Create and realize a vision for the US Vaccines Portfolio Marketing team across all relevant functions aligned to and supportive of the Business Unit priorities.Develop segment strategies, campaigns, and implementation plans across the portfolio with specific attention to growth, launch, and future brands.Manage a team of highly talented individuals, at Executive Director, Director, and Associate Director levels, to optimize vaccines’ performance while driving individual team members’ professional development.Engage policy team to identify relevant policy levers to support portfolio and public Health needs.Manage any cross-brand or above the brand initiatives that support our US vaccines business that are not supported in other parts of the organization.Collaborate and establish a close partnership with brand teams and Vaccine contracting teams to ensure aligned and connected strategies.Engage and activate National and Regional Medical/Clinical/Stakeholders aligned to Public Health and Vaccines Business Unit priorities.Education Minimum Requirements:Required: Bachelor’s DegreePreferred: Advanced Degree (MBA)Required Experience and Skills:Minimum of 10 years combined marketing, sales, marketing support or related experiences in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.Minimum of 3 years People Management experienceStrong leadership, business acumen, strategic thinking, problem solving, teamwork, analytical, written/verbal communication, and presentation skillsExpertise with cross-functional collaboration, managing complexity and ambiguity, and influencing without authority – both within division and cross-divisionally and at various levelsStrong track record delivering business results and role modelling our ways of working and compliancePreferred Experience and Skills:Marketing leadership role (USML or similar)Vaccine US market understandingPrior product launch experiencePrior payer marketing/market access experienceCurrent Employees applyCurrent Contingent Workers applyUS and Puerto Rico Residents Only:Our company is committed to inclusion, ensuring that candidates can engage in a hiring process that exhibits their true capabilities.
