Nintendo of Canada Ltd. (NOCL)Nintendo of Canada Ltd. (NOCL) is looking for a new Experiential Marketing & Partnerships Manager to join their Marketing team. The NOCL Marketing team is responsible for creating consumer demand in the Canadian market for Nintendo products and services. We do so by creating innovative marketing programs across a variety of marketing disciplines that create product awareness and brand engagement with consumers.As the Experiential Marketing & Partnerships Manager, you will lead the creation and execution of live consumer events as well as exploring and developing brand partnership programs with other powerful consumer brands in Canada. Ideal candidates will combine a high level of project management and planning skills with an eye for creativity and fun, all while demonstrating sound strategic marketing thinking and communication skills.DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

  • Leads and drives the planning and execution of experiential marketing and partnership programs that drive consumer purchase intent, earned conversation and media coverage, and increased engagement for Nintendo brands.
  • Collaborates in the strategic planning process with upfront and ongoing development of proposals for experiential marketing programs.
  • Actively plan, ideate, and proactively seek out and secure long-lead partnership opportunities with brands in Canada.
  • Collaborates with internal teams to fully integrate marketing activities, synchronize consumer messaging, amplify exposure, and drive retail conversion.
  • Drives the briefing and creative development process with agency partners by evaluating and providing ongoing direction on strategic opportunities, tactics, and execution plans that best promote key Nintendo hardware and software.
  • Implements experiential tactics/approaches and pioneers new experiential formats/capabilities and innovation.
  • Develops creative materials and tactics that deliver proper and impactful use of IP and brand messages.
  • Drives collaboration with internal teams, external agencies, and brand partners to ensure maximum market impact and exposure are achieved across all marketing teams.
  • Analyses overall tactic effectiveness and leads discussion on improvements and innovation.
  • Develops success metrics and reports results to stakeholders within NOCL for all programs.
  • Oversees inventory management and usage for all Experiential Marketing assets across suppliers and warehouse facilities across Canada for assigned projects.
  • Oversees onsite event execution, partner management, production, and to gain insights and learnings for current or future programs.
  • Provide leadership and fosters professional development of direct reports.

QualificationsSUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS

  • Six or more years of experience in consumer marketing, experiential event marketing, or related experience in strategic planning and execution of national consumer marketing campaigns.
  • Agency or corporate marketing background with an emphasis in experiential events is strongly preferred.
  • Proven record of developing and executing successful, fully integrated large-scale events with significant market and consumer impact while staying on-time and on-budget.
  • Strong understanding of promotional and experiential strategies and tactics to ensure feasibility of core ideas and to troubleshoot during execution.
  • PC skills (MS Office) required.
  • Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job family or field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications or Marketing, or the equivalent combination of education, training and related business experience.

The hiring range for this position is $102.000 – $153,000 CAD annual and is subject to change. The final base salary compensation will be based on factors such as skills, education, and experience.
