Integrated into our Export team of four, you will be supported by the International Sales Manager to spearhead the development of the APAC region, aligning with Izipizi’s strategic vision.Daily Business:Set objectives, analyze, and monitor the turnover of our existing partners.Build and follow up on roadmaps with your partners to ensure achievement.Forecast and promote new collections and launches.Manage your own P&L, and develop long-term plans and annual business forecasts.Business Trips:Carry out business trips with your partners when the opportunity presents itselfIdentify partners to visit and determine the purpose of each visit.Organize dedicated planning for each trip.Main goals of your business trips:Visit local partners or potential partners.Visit resellers and key accounts.Find new customers.Analyze and set up action plans and next steps.Travel is an inherent part of the job. A multi-zone business trip should be planned at least every quarter.Sales Administration:Collaborate with the sales administration team to manage partner relationships and orders.Support with customs duties issues and other specific import procedures (Reading certifications etc…)Business Development:Develop a long-term vision for your area and set goals/objectives accordingly.Approach new partners:Conduct business plan analysis.Handle wholesale contracts, training, and business trips.Communicate feedback from the field.Ensure a strategic watch to constantly adapt the company’s product offer.Trade Shows:Support our partners in the organization of their trade shows.Represent IZIPIZI at various trade shows in France and your area.Retail Development:Identify retail partners in your area.Collaboratively build a Retail Business Plan.Organize dedicated business trips focused on retail to analyze the market and find ideal locations.Negotiate and sign retail contracts with local partners.Animate a Retail Academy in the office to train our local partners (training tools, sales training in-store, etc.).Be the main contact between the partner and our Space Design Team in charge of the design of the project and the guarantor of the perfect result for the opening,Perform monthly follow-ups using internal retail tools and organize meetings to analyze store performance with our Head of Retail.Conduct regular mystery shopping.Legal:Oversee all aspects of business operations, including negotiating contracts with current and future partners.Conduct mid-year and year-end assessments of contractual objectives vs. achievements with existing partners.Update contracts accordingly (renewals, updating objectives, adding clauses, etc.).Transversal Management:Directly manage all partners (distributors and direct resellers) and maintain close relationships through weekly/monthly video calls and daily contact.Directly manage some key accounts.Act as project manager for specific projects in your area, maintaining regular contact with various departments, such as Marketing, Communication, Product, Supply, Legal, etc.Marketing & Communication:Assist in executing local marketing plans in alignment with the master marketing plan:Adapt the marketing plan to local factors and ensure proper execution.Ensure proper use of communication and marketing tools.Ensure that all communication and marketing tools developed for specific local needs are well produced and used.Work with local PR agencies:Maintain follow-up between PR agencies and our communication team.Explore opportunities with other PR agencies.You share all the Marketing & Communication activities made by your partners locally via a monthly report shared to all partners worldwide.Brand Awareness:Contribute to building the brand image and growing brand awareness:Ensure new account openings are aligned with POS location and brand environment.Ensure the merchandising in store(displays and marketing tools in line with brand image and seasonality).Seek cross-branding opportunities.Preferred experienceKnowledge:Export Managers must possess a good understanding of their local culture (APAC particularly Japan)Good understanding of import/export mechanismsIndustry knowledge in design, fashion, optical, kids, and museums; Izipizi collaborates with a diverse range of storesHard Skills:Language: Proficiency in English is essentialNegotiation skillsSales skillsProject managementKnow how to build a budgetSoftware: Office pack, Sales Force, and a BI software would be your day-to-day toolsSoft Skills:Dynamic and proactiveExcellent communication skills: adaptable to the Asian style of communication, with the ability to be firm yet gentleOrganized, tenacious, and rigorousStrong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team spiritQuick learner with a desire to take on responsibility in a demanding and ambitious companyExperiences:Education:

  • Master’s degree in international business

Professional Experience:Minimum of 5 years as an export manager or in a sales role within these specific territoriesMandatory experience and knowledge of Pacific markets, particularly the Japanese marketExperience and knowledge in the optical, fashion, or design industry is a plusRecruitment processOur recruitment process includes:
