Extrusion Machine Operator – Urgently Hiring!Pay: $21-$23/hr

If you’re a motivated professional who thrives on challenges and enjoys working in manufacturing, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:

• Operate extrusion press equipment to transform heated billets into high-quality strips.
• Utilize hand tools and follow written or verbal instructions to meet production goals.
• Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and maintain a safe work environment.
• Grease and maintain the extruder as needed (first shift primarily).
• Lift up to 85 lbs regularly and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and walking.
• Stack billets, cut strips, and maintain product quality throughout the process.
• Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
• Train new team members on extrusion processes.
• Communicate effectively with Melt Room and Breakdown teams regarding product quality.

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; six months of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with micrometers and calibers to ensure product quality.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hot environment and maintain focus under pressure.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and a commitment to safety.
