Our CDMO client in Union County, NJ is seeking a Facilities Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience performing facility maintenance tasks.

Location: Union County, NJ

Shift: 8 pm-7 am (Sun-Wed)

Employment Type: Direct hire

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and perform maintenance on building systems, including Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and emergency power systems.

• Provide assistance with IT tasks, including basic troubleshooting and hardware maintenance.

• Support the setup, upkeep, and repair of office equipment, such as computers, printers, furniture, and other IT-related devices.

• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized equipment calibration and maintenance services.

• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, inventory, and supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications in facilities maintenance or IT systems are a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., engineering) preferred, but not mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in facilities maintenance; experience in IT systems support is an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, including network cabling, hardware troubleshooting, and software installation preferred.

• Flexibility to be on call for emergencies and work outside of regular hours when needed.
