About the role

This position is for a Facility Communications Manager in Boulder, CO. You will be responsible for overseeing the communication systems in a government development lab and managing the communications needs for the lab’s various tenants. This role ensures that all communications channels meet the needs of the facility. 

You will also have the opportunity to grow and sharpen your skills with other talented members of Centil.

What you’ll do

The Facility Communications Manager will work with the various tenants at the government development lab in Boulder to manage all of the external communications to and from the lab. This individual will work with various communication providers to acquire and manage the communication connections, as well as with the lab tenants to ensure they have the communications they need.
Required Qualifications

  • Current Top Secret security clearance or higher
  • 5+ years of experience in managing communication systems, including telephony, data networks, audiovisual equipment, and wireless communication
  • Experience in facility management, handling communication infrastructure, and managing network systems
  • Proven experience in project management for deploying or upgrading communication systems, including vendor management
  • Experience working with external vendors and managing service agreements for communication equipment and systems
  • Knowledge of Voice over IP (VoIP) systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols and network design
  • Understanding of network security measures to protect sensitive communication
  • Willingness to work on site in Boulder, CO 4 days per week

Preferred/Bonus Qualifications

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar certification a plus

  • DoD Secret or higher clearance is preferred.  All applicants must be US citizens eligible for a US Government security clearance

Expected Salary Range

Depending on experience and skillset, most candidates will earn between $120,000 and $180,000 per year.

We combine these factors with market and business considerations to extend a job offer.
