3+ years of Executive Chef experience is required for this position. **Off-premise catering experience is a HUGE plus**Feast Your Eyes Catering in Philadelphia, PA seeks an experienced full-time Executive Chef.Who we are: We are a premier Philadelphia off-premise and on-premise caterer located in Philadelphia’s burgeoning South Kensington Arts District. Feast Your Eye regularly caters to intimate dinners for 6 as well as large-scale gatherings for 1,000s.Here at Feast Your Eyes, we aren’t afraid to think outside of the box and challenge the traditional ways of catering. While we aren’t a traditional restaurant, our standard is to provide similar, high-quality dishes. We encourage our clients to demand the same expectations when planning an event for 1,000 as they do for a dinner of 10 at a five-star restaurant. We value the power of diversity, especially in our culinary portfolio. We have talented chefs from around the world, which gives us leverage in exploring a variety of global cuisines. Our repertoire grows quickly each year and new items quickly become old favorites. Schedule requirements:

  • 45+ hours per week
  • 5-6 days per week

Language requirements:

  • English

Must have experience:

  • 3+ years of experience of culinary management experience
  • Successful track record managing high-volume professional kitchens and large teams
  • Off-premise catering experience is a huge plus
  • Upscale casual restaurant experience
  • Food safety knowledge (certification preferred)
  • Ordering & receiving, inventory
  • Maintaining honest relationships with vendors
  • Staff training and motivation
  • Scheduling
  • Staff management of greater than 20 employees

Additional requirements:

  • Comfortable driving a Sprinter van and/or small box truck
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Able to lift 40 pounds
