For this role, we are open to remote work and can hire anywhere in Canada.About the opportunityThe Field Alliance Director – Canada is the primary role responsible to lead the partner pipeline generation and partner attach in the Canada segment in the Americas region. They will work in collaboration with Partner Management team, Sales, Client Partners and cross-functional partner teams including SI’s, Advisory, PE, and software and technology.What you’ll get to do

  • Foster a Collaborative Ecosystem : Work closely with segment sales leadership and Account Executives to drive the adoption and seamless integration of partner strategies across Service Delivery, Advisory, Brokers, Software, and other components of the Dayforce ecosystem, to drive success in sales opportunities.
  • Support Sales Pipeline Development: Partner with the direct sales team to manage pipeline growth, provide strategic guidance on working with partners, regular performance updates to partners, and share insights with the Senior Sales Leadership team.
  • Develop Joint Sales Strategies: Collaborate with sales account executives to create and execute joint sales plans that effectively leverage referrals and alliances.
  • Serve as a Partner Liaison: Act as the primary contact for partner organizations, ensuring clear communication, addressing concerns, and resolving issues effectively.
  • Drive Target Account Strategies: Lead account planning and execution efforts with sales teams and partners, utilizing extended partner resources within Dayforce.
  • Understand Buying Cycles: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of prospects’ evaluation and buying processes, staying engaged with partners and Dayforce sales teams throughout the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with Marketing: Work with marketing teams to support lead-generation initiatives, including campaigns, direct mail, tradeshows, social media, webinars, and in-person events, to engage potential influencer partners.
  • Monitor and Report Partnership Impact: Track, analyze, and report on partnership performance and its alignment with sales targets on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Ensure Data Integrity: Adhere to established standard operating procedures to document all relevant information in sales tools, such as Salesforce.com.

Skills and Experience we value

  • 15+ years in sales, business development, partner management, and /or SI practice management, working with market leading enterprise application software vendors or GSIs
  • Strong experience developing and executing GTM plans with SI partners such as EY, Deloitte, BDO, and Think Best Practice
  • Experience in business development and partnering with benefit brokers, advisory partner, private equity and software and technology partners
  • Experience with Canada public sector – Federal, Provincial and Municipal
  • HCM/WFM/Pay experience preferred
  • Effective people management skills
  • Executive level communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • A set of personal characteristics which include intelligence, strong executive presence, a can-do attitude, collaborative, high energy, motivational, solid business acumen and a value system which focuses on delivering quality and instilling organizational and personal commitment to excellence.
  • Proven capability to work in a team and collaborate
  • Local market knowledge and understanding (software industry, trends, vertical market industries, etc.)
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • MBA preferred
  • Must be able to travel up to 50%
