Salary band: 45,000-50,000
Bonus: 5% (performance-based, discretionary)

LINQ Cloud and LINQ Workcell offer both multi-tenant and single-tenant environments, delivering flexible, cost-efficient automation solutions for labs worldwide.We’re Hiring: Field Service Engineer (Automation)We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer who is customer-focused, adaptable, and a skilled problem solver in automated installations. In this role, you’ll collaborate with multiple teams, communicate effectively, and travel across the UK and Europe to support our clients.Why This Role Matters:
This position is crucial to ensuring our clients’ systems operate smoothly, minimising downtime, optimising performance, and supporting complex automation processes. As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll play a key part in helping businesses achieve greater operational efficiency through our cutting-edge technology.Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Supporting automated platforms at customer sites and within Automata’s head office and build facility.
• Monitoring and managing the Service Desk, including responding to and triaging customer tickets.
• Providing training to customers and external engineers.
• Assisting the Deployment team with installation duties.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with control panels and electrical circuits.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills.
• Attention to detail in all aspects of your work.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with service desk tools (e.g., Jira).
• Background in a laboratory environment.
