Job DescriptionWe’re Hiring: Field Support Envoy
Location: Carlisle
Salary: £26,000 per annum + £4,000 car allowance
Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)Are you an organised and proactive individual with experience in stores, logistics, or stock control? Do you excel in a client-facing role and enjoy working across multiple sites to support essential operations?Join our team.
We’re looking for a dedicated Field Support Envoy to provide crucial support to our engineering stores across various locations. This role involves maintaining stock control, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving continuous improvements.Key Responsibilities:
You will provide cover for Stores personnel, including receipting deliveries, putting stock away, and issuing stock products. You’ll assist clients in selecting goods, advising on cost-effective alternatives where applicable. The role involves handling customer and vendor returns, conducting stock checks, and managing progression duties as required.
In addition, you’ll identify cost-saving measures, drive continuous improvements, and maintain stores to operational excellence (OPEX) standards. Providing excellent customer service is key, alongside assisting with project work and supporting the training of store envoys.
You will be responsible for maintaining health and safety standards, sharing best practices, and completing detailed handovers for returning Envoys. Strong communication with both clients and Contract Operations Managers (COMs) is essential, as is a proactive approach to supporting business and client needs. This role will involve staying away and hotel/meal costs covered with expenses.Candidate Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Excellent client-facing and attention to detail skills.
• Good working knowledge of stores and inventory management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft packages and SAP experience.
• A full UK driving licence.
• A valid Forklift Truck Licence preferred
• Knowledge of industrial consumables and engineering products.
• Previous experience in a commercial, distribution, industrial, or engineering environment.
