Key Responsibilities

Working with the Line Managers to understand every aspect of their business and their financial requirements.

Liaise with the fee earner of each project to obtain the project’s finances for inputting into our financial system.

Using Salesforce, ensure that each project is logged correctly, including any fee splits.

Working with the data administrators to ensure clients are live on our financial system and have been processed correctly.

Managing disbursements for the team’s projects to avoid hidden costs.

Attend any team meetings for your team or with the finance team, as required.

Provide the team’s financial information to Management when requested.

Consistently liaise with the team’s Line Manager during month end to enable them to understand their financial position.

Payment of third-party invoices, in a timely manner, and liaising with the third-party companies to provide them with payment dates, when required.

Liaising with the internal auditing team for them to provide sign off prior to submitting the client’s invoice.

Processing the invoices for each fee earner of your team and sending these out directly to the client, on a monthly basis, saving any required documentation on Sharepoint.

Liaise with the client’s accounting team, if and when required, to ensure invoices are processed successfully.

Undertake any internal training as and when required.

Working with the credit controllers to provide them with any information for invoices sent so they can chase payment of these with the client.

Holiday cover for other financial administrators, when required.

Key Responsibilities

Understanding of Salesforce and Client IQ preferable but not mandatory

Excellent communication skills

Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met

Highly developed time management skills – the ability to work to very tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of accuracy

Maintain a positive attitude towards routine tasks

Diligent with accurate and exceptional attention to detail

Pro-active and forward thinking, enjoys working autonomously and as part of a wider team

Able to liaise with various levels of seniority with ease

Flexible approach to work

Understands and appreciates the importance of using discretion

Team player who deals effectively with colleagues and clients
