We have an exciting opportunity in our Finance team as a Finance Assistant. You will be part of the Marriott family, maintaining finance records and carrying out administration duties relating to finance.

Main Duties:

• Complete all direct billing ensuring correct back up is attached

• Apply all payments accurately, in a timely manner

• Ensure completion of month end task list

• Following Brand Standards in all aspects of the role.

• Chase all outstanding invoices, ensuring prompt payment in line with payment terms.

• Validate and check all event and group invoices and back up, to ensure that all revenue has been correctly raised and billed to the correct client

What do you need to apply?

We are looking for a candidate, who is dynamic and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have five GCSE or equivalent qualifications including Maths and English (Accounting / Finance or Hospitality qualification preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience. They will have timeliness and accuracy in recording and reporting, willingness to learn and develop as training will be provided and an ability to verbally communicate effectively with clients, suppliers and co-workers. Strong IT skills are essential.
