Reporting into the Head of Central Operations Finance you will deliver a highly professional and thorough framework of performance management, control, and productivity optimisation for the South Midlands area.You will also

  • Use financial and business insights to influence and challenge the operations teams to deliver the required in year performance.
  • Evaluate whether agreed activities have delivered the expected outputs and provide transparency on the outcomes.
  • Drive a performance management culture, undertaking productivity and benchmarking analysis.
  • Provide technical guidance and appropriate consideration of risks and opportunities, taking an independent view of the need to escalate issues.
  • Ensure there are robust control procedures in place.
  • Actively participate in leadership meetings and national forums.

About You
To truly excel in this role, you will possess, and be able to evidence, the skills and experience listed below:

  • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA)
  • A strong team focus, able to contribute effectively to a collaborative working environment.
  • Ability to actively listen, analyse and advise in a challenging and supportive way that elicits buy-in.
  • Resilient in challenging up and down in a supportive and collaborative manner.
  • Able to move at pace, to identify and drive creative solutions and remove barriers where necessary.
  • Impartial judgement and relevant information to give advice that can be relied upon
