We have a current opportunity for a Finance Director on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Central Scotland. For further information about this position please apply.Our client is a well established and highly successful operational real estate and leisure business with assets operating across all of Scotland. They are looking to strengthen their senior management team by hiring an experienced finance professional to their already strong leadership group. The client wants to find an individual who is an established finance professional, ideally with a real estate or leisure or indeed hotel sector backgroundThey Will:-Report directly to Managing Director and will sit on the board of the business.
-Be responsible for all audits, management and statutory accounts, compliance, and all banking relationships.
-Need to possess a solid pair of hands gained in a background in hotels/resorts/leisure/operational real estate and have a strong understanding of the real estate asset side of the business.
-Ideally have had previous experience of a private family office environment.
-Be comfortable being Finance Director of a business currently turns over £100-£115million per annum.
-Be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
-Be capable of running a team of 25 people including a skilled and experienced finance team.Summary:The client wants to hire a finance professional who has been working in the profession alongside senior managers for many years. They need an individual who is used to running teams and motivating them effectively. In addition, it will be necessary to show that they have the capability to bring about change management within a business that is extremely effective but has considerable potential, whilst also being a commercially focused candidate comfortable in areas such as bank lending, tax and treasury. All told it is a terrific role and one that will bring career development and the chance to expand their repertoire of skills and experience.
