As Finance Manager, External reporting systems you will be responsible for managing the preparation, and publication of the quarterly Results Announcements and Annual Report for the GSK Group using the SAAS tool, and subsequent filing with both the UK and US regulators. The holder of this role will be a superuser of the SAAS tool and will be a key conduit between various internal stakeholders and the external provider.The role requires a high level of accuracy, knowledge of relevant systems, attention to detail and timeliness, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders in Finance, Company Secretariat, Tech, Risk & Compliance, Communications and the external tool provider.At GSK, we create a place where people can grow, be their best, be safe, and feel welcome, valued and included. Discover more about our company wide benefits and life at GSK on our webpageIn this role you willQuarterly Results AnnouncementsManage the preparation of the Results Announcement in the SAAS tool, ensuring that the document has been rolled forward accurately with correct links and no errors.Single point of accountability for the production of the draft results announcements in the SAAS tool, including troubleshooting and liaising with external provider and GSK Tech as required.Collaborate with the Corporate Reporting team to ensure the Results Announcements are accurately compiled.Agree timing of review process with external auditors and respond to all auditor comments as necessary.Responsible for preparing the US dollar version of the main summary pages of the Results Announcement for uploading onto the main external website.Responsible for working with key internal colleagues to ensure that tool accesses and permissions comply with Sarbanes Oxley requirements.Annual ReportAct as the key financial contact for the day-to-day management and production of the Annual Report in the SAAS platform, including troubleshooting any technical challenges, working with GSK Tech and the external provider as needed.Liaise with other departments, primarily Communications, Corporate Secretariat, to ensure the process is planned to ensure all design and content is completed and available for review and for the Board circulation in a timely manner.Provide the external auditors with a draft skeleton Report prior to year-end close for their technical review to confirm additional disclosure requirements based on new or revised IFRSs and other changes in regulatory requirements.Liaise with the external print manager to ensure all necessary information is provided to enable printing of the final document to the agreed deadlines.Liaise with Corporate Secretariat to ensure all necessary financial information is provided for the 20-F filing of the Report with the US regulator.Managing the XBRL tagging process for the year end cycleSAAS Tool “superuser”SAAS tool internal expert, supporting internal stakeholders with any structural changes needed to the reports in the toolKey representative of the external reporting team with GSK Tech and the external providerStay abreast of new functionalities and developments in the SAAS tool that will enhance external reporting processes and attend vendor training events as needed.Qualifications and experience requiredQualified Accountant – ACA, ACCA or equivalent chartered accountant qualification with strong post-qualification experience (PQE).Practical experience of using SAAS tools, ideally “Wdesk” from Workiva, in producing external reports.Demonstrable knowledge of IFRS standards, as well as experience of statutory reporting, annual report preparation and regulatory filing.Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment with different stakeholders and all levels of management.Desirable experiencePQE and SAAS systems experience gained in a FTSE 100 multinational companyClosing Date for Applications: Friday 21st March 2025Please take a copy of the Job Description, as this will not be available post closure of the advert.
