We invite you to play an integral part in bringing to life this unique brand within Edinburgh and join this fast paced operation.ABOUT THE ROLEReporting to the Assistant Director of Finance, the Finance Supervisor at W Edinburgh will have overall responsibility for ensuring the hotel follows the Company’s established procedures, monitoring revenue records and following internal procedures to ensure the company complies with all tax obligations.Joining the team means you will be instrumental to the success of the hotel’s operation. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, a people-person and passionate!As Finance Supervisor, key aspects of your role will include:
- Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy.
- Be a role model within the department, assisting the team to perform their role when required
- Take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution
- Train talent to become experts in their role
- Supervise the daily operation of the finance department
- Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information.
- Control and secure cash and cash equivalents for property according to cash handling policy and procedures.
- Organize, secure, and maintain all files and records in accordance with document retention and confidentiality policies and procedures.
- Prepare, maintain, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
- Audit statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables. Audit and reconcile all revenue postings.
