What our Financial Accountants:

  • Contribute to Pagefreezer’s Vision and Mission in a Values-aligned way by supporting integral processes in the Finance team.
  • Collaborate with members of the Finance team to successfully and accurately complete each financial accounting cycle and create timely, accurate, and complete financial information, statements, and reports, including preparing and submitting items such as:
  • Monthly consolidated financial statements
  • Fully supported journal entries
  • General ledger account reconciliations (eg. prepaid, fixed assets, deferred revenue, intercompany accounts etc.)
  • Applicable regulatory filings (eg. GST, PST, U.S. State tax etc.)
  • Sales commissions calculations
  • Assist with year-end audit process
  • Uphold and improve internal control processes with documentation and training
  • Work closely with other departments to gather financial information and provide financial support.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports as needed for the team and leadership.
  • Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes, as needed.

What makes you a great fit:

  • Alignment with our
  • Received or actively working towards a CPA designation.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience in a B2B SAAS environment
  • Excellent Excel and Google Workspace skills – comfortable using common formulas and pivot tables
  • Familiarity with several different cloud Finance and Accounting tools and ability to leverage them
  • Specifically, Xero, Hubspot and Fathom
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with and serve as a knowledgeable resource to a leadership team
  • Disciplined, with solid organizational and time management skills to work with a high amount of autonomy while delivering results
  • Outstanding interpersonal relationship and consulting skills, maintaining a high level of confidentiality
  • Keen ability to manage multiple priorities, organize work effectively, and delegate or ask for help appropriately
  • Able to work 40 hours a week and authorized to work in Canada (anywhere in Canada works for us)

  • The annual base salary range for this role is $65,000 – $75,000 CAD. The total compensation offered for this position may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, and location. It may also include non-cash rewards and benefits.
