Job description
My client is a leading financial services business based in the City area of London and is looking to hire a newly qualified Financial Accountant for its team. Reporting to the Head of Finance with oversight of two junior accountants.Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role is a mix of financial reporting and managment accounting and covers a range of responsibilties. Working in a team of 5, you will be responsible for the:
- Management of the day to day financial operations
- Daily and monthly reporting of financial management information (P&Ls, financial resources, liquidity etc.)
- Preparation and distribution of comprehensive analysis of the company’s financial performance (relative to comparable historical periods, budget, and forecast)
- Providing qualitative commentary on business trends, on a timely basis and assisting in the production of financial reports to the Board as required.
- FCA regulatory reports
- Preparation of statutory, fiscal and regulatory filings in a timely manner
- Assist in the Corporate tax and VAT return submission
- Maintain and enhance the Company’s finance policies
- Oversight of two junior accountants
